It was in 2001 that Alcatel-Tunisia's communications division, following Alcatel's trend toward a global distribution strategy, became independent and took the name of "AeTech", or Advanced e-Technologies. AeTech resulted from the sale of part of Alcatel-Tunisia's goodwill.

Headed by Mr. Zoubeir CHAIEB, the company soon became Alcatel's partner on the Tunisian market. Since then, it has continuously branched out into new information services, while offering its expertise to an ever-increasing number of different sectors.

AeTech is a limited company, a solution integrator of information and communication technologies. Its activity focuses mainly on voice and data communication (information and telephony networks, IP voice, call center solutions, visioconferencing, and LED displays).

Adopted by many Tunisian websites, AeTech is one of the leading ICT companies, thanks to almost twenty years of experience in the field.

In order to meet each customer's specific needs with efficacy, AeTech has divided its activity into three main divisions:

• AeTech Solutions, a global solution integrator in communication technologies, is the division that identifies and integrates communication solutions, by combining the technologies and the expertise of its highly educated and certified staff. The company keeps innovating and increasing the range of its products, which counts nowadays a large number of global solutions that meet the most stringent sector requirements.

• AeTech Consulting specializes in the development of human resources, by carefully studying the activities and business cultures of its customers. AeTech Consulting is the response to the rising market demand for turnkey solutions.

• AeTech Distribution is THE distributor of Tunisia (Orascom)'s products and services.

AeTech's policy stems from its determination to be the sole, valid interlocutor for the implementation of its customers' solutions.

Among some of the most prestigious partnership that AeTech has secured are:

• The Alcatel-Lucent partnership, in voice, data and CRM software solutions for call centers.
• IBM and Microsoft partnerships in information and datacenter infrastructure solutions
• The Zhone partnerships for network access.

AeTech has engaged with other sectors by becoming Aethra's partner for visioconferencing and Adaptive's partner for electronic displays. More recently, it has expanded the scope of its activities by adding videosurveillance engineering.

In order to meet the needs of its customers throughout Tunisia, AeTech has opted for an outreach policy in adding three regional branches to the head office.
